Welfare
Welfare is the provision of a minimal level of well-being and social support for citizens without current means to support basic needs, sometimes referred to as public aid. It covers the health, happiness, and fortunes of a person or group.
In NEC also, our main focus has been the welfare of our employees without which, the company cannot run. Various welfare activities are being carried out in NEC for over all development of the Company and for the peaceful and harmonious living of our employees.
The main area of focus under welfare in NEC is maintenance of the Company Quarters and to provide standard living accommodation to all the employees of NEC. Annual sports meet and cultural programs are also organized under welfare in all the units.

Sports & Cultural
Annual sports & cultural meet are being organized every year in the respective units wherein all the employees and dependents participate with full enthusiasm. Inter Colliery Sports Meet is also organize as a part of welfare for the employees.
